Our fourth window display in our new location is one for the record. Weeks ahead of planning I wanted to come up with a display using a piece of furniture and then incorporatre a free hand drawing of a hairstyle but then It was difficult to find and match a furniture and hairdo. So I said, let us use this beautiful piece of furniture and since it is an elaborately curved piece in gold and blue velvet it should stand on its own. Few days passed and one of my staff commented that our window was so simple. I was looking at the window from the outside and somethig wild just freaked me out. That chair looks like the body of a peacock! I want a peacock!

So there I was telling my creative and retail team to give me studies for a peacock that we can draw on the wall and incorporate the bench. Since the team was busy to execute, a drawing was given to the retail team, they drew using pencil as a guide and then used a black pentel pen to finish up the design.

The result is a stunning window display of a male and female peacock. The simplicity is stunning. It took a day and 2 pentel pens to create an effective window display. I love it because the focus is on the beautiful bench. This is a perfect example that creativity does not have to be expensive.
Simple and beautiful.
