The Marquee Shopping mall is a very nice shopping destination located north of Manila. It is part of the Ayala Malls.
K I S H was commissioned to design the seating areas last year, and we found our inspiration in a piece Vito Selma designed. The design was modified to withstand the heavy traffic of shoppers.
K I S H also wanted to have a seating area that is interesting, flexible and a stand out. What turned out was a form that looks like a boat, petal or drop of water.
It was beautiful that it can be grouped to different settings and create a look. They can look like sailing boats or be formed as a flower. It was a stand-out by itself or part of a group.
